Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Routix Dash app and related services (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Software license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Routix Dash application on devices you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sublicense, or redistribute the software except as expressly permitted by law or by a separate written agreement with us.

The app sends crash reports and, unless you turn it off in Settings, anonymous usage statistics. Neither contains personal data or data from your configuration; see the Privacy Policy.

Free tier

The core app is free to use on iPhone and iPad without a paid plan. The free tier allows:

  • Any number of data sections.
  • Up to 30 data pieces and Freeform components in total.
  • Up to 200 components inside data pieces in total.
  • Two custom screens and two custom bottom sheets, with up to 30 components across them. The vertical and horizontal layouts both count.
  • 150 AI assistant prompts in total.
  • 25 in-app MCP server edit sessions per device. Reading is not limited.

A component group counts as one component, and each component inside it also counts. Creating named snapshots and export and import require Pro.

Content that already exceeds these limits stays usable; only adding more is blocked. Free tier limits may change in future versions of the app.

Pro tier

Pro is a one-time purchase in the iOS app through the App Store. On the Apple Account that bought it, Pro:

  • Removes the free tier limits.
  • Unlocks named snapshots, export and import.
  • Gives unlimited AI assistant usage.
  • Gives unlimited in-app MCP server edits.

Pro does not auto-renew and has no recurring charge. It stays with that Apple Account on iPhone and iPad and is not shared with other platforms or other Apple Accounts.

Refunds are handled only through Apple, as described in Apple in-app purchases (iOS) below.

Your responsibilities

  • If you create password-protected configuration backups, you are responsible for the strength of the encryption password and for any redistribution of those files, which may contain connection secrets, data source credentials, and certificates (see Password-protected configuration backups below).
  • If you use the AI assistant, you are responsible for the third-party provider you configure and for everything sent to that provider (see AI assistant and third-party providers below).
  • We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for uses that violate these Terms or pose a security or abuse risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization.
  • Circumvent rate limits, licensing checks, or access controls.
  • Upload malicious code or use the Service to distribute malware or spam.
  • Interfere with the Service’s normal operation or other users’ access.

Your content

Your configuration and the data you connect remain yours. You are responsible for the content of your configurations and for complying with any obligations owed to third parties whose data you connect to Routix Dash.

Password-protected configuration backups

The app can create password-protected configuration backups (exports and similar portable snapshots). These backups may include your full setup, including connection settings, data source and destination credentials, certificates, and other secrets.

You choose the encryption password for such backups. You are solely responsible for:

  • Choosing a strong password, keeping it confidential, and not reusing passwords that are easy to guess or already compromised.
  • Any unauthorized access that results from a weak, shared, lost, or otherwise inadequate password.
  • How you store, send, share, or redistribute backup files, and for any disclosure of the secrets inside if a file and its password become available to others.

We do not receive the encryption password you set for local exports, and we cannot recover a forgotten password.

Anyone who obtains both a backup file and its password may decrypt and use the contents. Sharing or redistributing a backup is at your own risk; we are not liable for loss, misuse, or unauthorized access arising from your password choices or from redistribution of configuration backups.

AI assistant and third-party providers

The app can send your prompts, conversation, and related context from your device directly to a third-party language-model provider you choose (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or your own Ollama server).

We do not operate that model. Our servers do not receive, store, or process those AI requests or responses.

You are solely responsible for:

  • the provider, API keys, and endpoint you configure, and any charges that provider bills you;
  • the content you send to that provider, including any secrets, credentials, or personal information in prompts or in configuration the assistant may include;
  • complying with that provider’s terms of service, privacy policy, and acceptable-use rules.

We are not a party to your relationship with that provider and are not liable for its handling of data, service quality, availability, or charges.

Payments and refunds

Pro pricing is shown in the app at the time of purchase. Prices and feature sets may change for future purchases. Except where required by applicable consumer law, Pro purchases are final once the purchase is completed.

Apple in-app purchases (iOS)

Pro is offered in the iOS app as a one-time, non-renewing purchase through the App Store. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge.

Pro is tied to the Apple Account that bought it and is not shared with other platforms or other Apple Accounts. Payment and refund requests for Pro are handled by Apple, not Routix Dash, under Apple’s own policies.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Live data integrations depend on third-party sources, language-model providers, and networks we do not control; we do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or availability of external endpoints you configure.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PRO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
